Curiosity (and sorry if it was discussed before on other comment windows): Do you use any kind of Vellum paper for this dry brush effect?
Great black and white use! Looking at the strip alone I see a Photo-Realistic Newspaper Strip popular in the '50 as the Alez raymond Rip Kirby
