Post Thought Bubble
Had a great time time at Thought Bubble in Leeds last weekend. Did a lot of sketches and sold a few books. It was great to meet so many appreciative fans and to hang out with so many great comic pros. Back to work on Fatale now!
I've put a few of the books I had left over from Thought Bubble up on my amazon store... All come signed and sketched in.

I've two books out today. One is Hellblazer: Family Man which includes issue #31 which was the first American comic I drew, over twenty years ago.
The other is Scene Of The Crime, where I inked Michael Lark's stunning pencils...

Thought Bubble
I'll be at Thought Bubble in Leeds this weekend. As well as signing anything you bring along, I'll also have plenty of copies of the Criminal and Incognito hardcovers, the first Fatale trade and the Scene Of The Crime hardcover. Maybe a few other books if I can fit them in the car. I'm happy to sketch in those books and any you bring along, but I've decided I'll no longer do sketches of other people's or other companies' characters. So no Wolverine or Batman or whatever. For the forseeable future, I'll only be doing sketches of characters I have some stake in from now on. I've spent years drawing sketches of Batman or X-Men or Constantine or Marvel Zombies and I just want to concentrate on my own stuff for a while.
Of course, after sitting twiddling my thumbs all weekend because no one wants a sketch now, maybe I'll have a change of heart when I do a con next year, but I don't think so.

Finished!
I know it's been a while since I last blogged, but I've been super busy. As well as getting Fatale back on schedule, I've finished Gabe and the Sandpiper at last. Only took over a year for eight pages...
Look for it soon in the pages of Dark Horse Presents.
Here's a censored detail of one of the pages.

DREDD
Found this old painting while looking through my files for something else. I painted it in 1992 and the original painting was given away in a competition in the Sunday Mirror newspaper.

Had a good time signing and sketching at Travelling Man in Manchester on Saturday as part of the 2000AD 35th anniversary. Great to catch up with Steve Yeowell and John Wagner too. Did a load of sketches but only remembered to photograph a couple. Here's the best of those...
