Yep, that didn't do me any favours!
Entirely our fault for not putting 'with apologies to...' on the spread. You got a load of stick for no reason on that...
Och well, the 12 year old me thought it was great and I'm still gleefully following your work 20-odd years later (and what odd years they've been).
30 years! This spread and the cover to #2 that was used as the poster in 2000AD was a huge part of the reason me and all my mates were absolutely mindblown with those early issues of the Meg. Maybe the best launch in 2000 AD's entire history, in terms of the sheer quality of the end product (ok maybe not Chopper, but nobody's perfect).
