Received my copy today of the book I'd put together of Saturday Evening Post artists from the 1950s. Over 600 pages of artistic genius and worth every long hour of scanning and clean up it took...
great job! all my image collections of the same kind i've had in the years, haven't survived the usual catastrophic HD crashes. that's a great idea to store them!
Welcome to my blog. You've probably gotten here from my website www.seanphillips.co.uk. I plan on this place being a companion piece to there, hopefully updated more often.
Every working day I'll post an example of what I've been working on that day. a favourite panel or cover or sometimes a whole page of comics.

I only made the book for myself, to have a copy on my bookshelf. All the images inside are copyrighted so I'm not allowed to sell copies of the book.

Great looking book, who printed it up for you?
I got it from Lulu.
Are you sure you can't sell copies? Those copyrights are over fifty years old. I would think they're public domain now.
You may want to look into it.
I can think of a ton people like myself who would cherish a copy.
All the same , I enjoy your blog.
I figured you probably couldn't sell copies because of copyright issues Sean, completely understandable.
Again, the design of the cover is really slick. How many different artists are represented in the book? Would love to see that master list sometime.
Looks absolutely gorgeous
I would kill to have that book. Love the 1950's stuff!
