The Secret of Penny Farthing
I'm swamped with Criminal pages this week. They're the last few pages of Bad Night, so they're full of spoilers. Rather than spoil the story, I thought I'd show some old stuff instead. This is the second episode of a serial I drew for Bunty, a comic aimed at young girls, when I was about 16. It was inked by Ken Houghton who pencilled and inked the first episode, then I took over pencils for the rest of the story.

Amazing comics work for a 16yr old! I don't even want to think about what my artwork looked like at the age of 16...
And is that the first appearance of Dawn French in a comic book?
Hope the Criminal pages are coming along well. The Hellblazer story looks lovely!
Really impressive looking stuff for your early published work. And it keeps getting better.
Love Criminal by the way.
An evil gypsy forcing a little girl to dress up as a ventriloquists dummy? Those old Bunty stories were brilliantly demented...
Remarkable for 16.
