I was going to say it looks like he's a chip off the old block... but decided it wouldn't be THAT funny. Instead I'll say, nice work Jake!
Its interesting you said "cartoonist." Not many people I've met in the industry like the term. Do you consider yourself a cartoonist?
If anything, good job. I like how Thing looks as if hes ascending out of rubble.

by the way my son (5 years old) likes colours my comic boards photocopy with markers no real drawing yet
