After all that scanning of John M Burn's Jane art last week, I couldn't resist, and had to go and buy some original art... I bought this daily along with a Frank Robbins Johnny Hazard daily I'll get round to posting someday.

Nice style. Reminds me of Longaron. I'd heard of Jane but not Burns. Thanks for posting, Sean.
Ha ha Sean you're his #1 fan like I'm your #1 fan!
Fantastic. When are you gonna put all these in a book on lulu ( with Eartha ) so I can buy it?
I don't think copyright laws would allow him to do that Pete!
are you planning to post any more of the Jane strips that you scanned? it's been years since I saw them.
Where do you buy the originals. Loved his penwork on that strip.
Roger, would you be prepared to let me borrow your Jane cuttings to scan for my collection?
I've been buying them from www.bookpalace.com
Sean,
Only checking back on the comments now....
It might be easier for me to scan them and mail them on to you -depending on the resolution you intended scanning them.
There are about 200 strips (5 to an A4 page) inc a few where the Mirror added colour.
There are also about 50 "Girl Talk" strips in the scrapbook which Burns illustrated and which were published following the end of Jane and a bunch of about 60 Garth strips illustrated by Martin Asbury.
Anyway, mail me on rodge@eircom.net and we'll sort something out.
All the best
Roger
