Back to Work Again

Well, I managed to draw thirteen pages of Criminal last week as well as paint a cover for The Vinyl Underground. After recovering from that with getting out into the Lake District with my visiting family, I'm back to work today. I've got about a week to draw eleven pages of Marvel Zombies...
Should have plenty of stuff to post here for the next few days then!

Awesome! Do you always pencil in the balloon placements? I've been doing it more and more, but I rarely pencil in every one.

I always place the balloons. It's the first thing I draw in the panels on my thumbnails. The balloons and captions have to read in the right order and lead the eye across the page. I hand draw the balloons and caption boxes in Criminal, and letter the pages before I've drawn anything. It's an integral part of the art.
