The funny part about this is I was just looking over a Pulp Illustration book, and it featured several paintings of pulp comic covers and other images.
One of them was The Spider swinging from a noose he was trapped in to dropkick another guy who looked like Adrien Brody.
Anyway, great painting. I love the bold simplicity of it.
