Blast Of Silence DVD

Criterion have announced it's release, so now I can mention the DVD that they are putting out of this great film.
I was lucky enough to asked to draw the cover for the DVD and also adapt the first few scenes of the film into comic form.
Here's the cover and the first two pages... You'll have to buy the DVD if you want to see the rest.

I've been wanting to see this since reading about it in Criminal. Thanks for bringing it to my attention and I can't wait to snag this edition.

Amazing work, I love that they're having artists do new covers for old movies at Criterion, I also saw a sci-fi one illustrated by Sienkiewicz ... I hope they keep up with that.

I might have to buy the DVD just for the Comic! You're gonna make Brubaker jealous.

Wow, that's great. What a great opportunity, to provide art for a classic DVD. Congratulations on getting such a great project and of course, doing such a great job on it.

i bet it was eric skillman who got you in to do it, wasn't it? i'm a big fan of what that guy's been doing at criterion, especially with getting all these comics-related people involved. :D

To have Criterion release Blast of Silence and give it's proper due was exciting enough, but to toss in your artwork Sean, makes it even better!
I can't wait for this disc.
Great, great movie.

Great stuff, man. I just saw the movie. I haven't been to the Criterion site but do you know if they'll actually use the original footage to print from?
