Boxer looks great, any more work on it would probably just kill the liveliness of the brushwork. Always amazed by just how good a painter you are. Not so sure about the thick ash coloured background. It's evocative of a Smokey seedy environment but For me it just seems to sit on top of a rich and rusty colour scheme but I guess you have to have somewhere to put graphic text elements. It’s easy to be a critic and I trust your judgment, with the graphics I’m sure it will look awesome.
here i thought you were just asking for more punishment, but i stand corrected. thanks for sharing your process, it's turning out great. lay off the chocolate, back to work..
Welcome to my blog. You've probably gotten here from my website www.seanphillips.co.uk. I plan on this place being a companion piece to there, hopefully updated more often.
Every working day I'll post an example of what I've been working on that day. a favourite panel or cover or sometimes a whole page of comics.

I actually hope you don't do too much more with this painting. Looks great as it is.
When you finish a painting Sean, what resolution do you normally scan the piece for printing? If you don't mind me asking, that is.
Wow. Very Tyson-esque.
Lovely piece Sean, great to see the work in progress.
Is this going to be an arc about Gnarly? He looks like he could have handled himself in the ring.
Fnarr, fnarr.
Sorry. Can't help myself sometimes.
