Oils on board, about two hours so far. I'll leave it to dry overnight and finish tomorrow.

Dempsey and Makepeace
Still working on spoiler laden Criminal pages, so here's a blast from the past. I drew a six page strip for the Dempsey and Makepeace Annual 1986, based on the short lived TV show. I drew this in my first year at art college, so I was 19 I think. Here's the first couple of pages...

CRIMINAL inks
Been working on Criminal the last couple of days. There's too many spoilers on most of the pages so there's not much I can show. Here's a panel that doesn't give anything away...

Thought Bubble
I'll be at the Leeds Comic Festival on Saturday.
Thought Bubble
I'll be bringing along a limited quantity of the Criminal Deluxe Edition, and copies of next week's Criminal: The Sinners #2.
Also might bring along some art from Criminal and Incognito as well.

Back To Work
Started a new issue of Criminal last week but didn't really do much worth showing. Lost one and a half days because some of my village was without electricity while some trees were trimmed near the power lines. Went into the Lake District to a couple of galleries instead. Got me keen to do some more painting though I don't know when I'll get the chance, got too much work to do.
Here's a page I finished over the weekend...

Comic Action
Regretfully I won't now be appearing at Comic Action in Essen next week. I'm just too snowed under with drawing Criminal to make it there. Hopefully I will still be going to Thought Bubble next month.
Also on Halloween, along with Charlie Adlard and Duncan Fegredo, I will be signing at Infinity and Beyond in Shrewsbury.

The Robbery
Didn't do much drawing today. This morning I gave a talk to my nine year old son Archie's class about comics as they are doing a project drawing their own graphic novel.
Then I watched this movie for homework...
It's directed by Peter Yates who also directed The Friends Of Eddie Coyle and Bullitt. I've got some drawings to do from it for a Criminal back up article (only available in the monthly comic, not reprinted in the collections).
