hey sean, i have been watching closely your work since the hellblazer run. what got me addicted at the time was those big bold black geometric shapes you had everywhere that created both a realistic and expressive art - uncanny to mainstream comics, even in vertigo. as a fan, this blog is an amazing insight to the way you work, and provides great inspiration. (did anyone tell you you kind of look like the constantine character?) asaf
That's how you recognise artists at cons, even before you read their badges: "hey, that guy looks like every face Glenn Fabry ever drew - it must be Glenn Fabry!"
As one of those gits killing comics by "waiting for the trade", glad this book is being collected in such a handsome edition. Looking forward to it.
Welcome to my blog. You've probably gotten here from my website www.seanphillips.co.uk. I plan on this place being a companion piece to there, hopefully updated more often.
Every working day I'll post an example of what I've been working on that day. a favourite panel or cover or sometimes a whole page of comics.
